DescriptionBoride CS-HD series stones are made of silicon carbide and are designed for most grades of steel (up to 63 HRC). All stones are mounted on TSPROF-branded aluminum blanks. The stones are delivered in a branded Boride cardboard box. We recommend using the CS-HD stone set to sharpen knives made of hard stainless steel or carbon steel. We do not recommend using CS-HD stones for sharpening soft steel knives – this will cause faster wear. However, the coarse CS-HD stones (120 and 150 grit) are often used as a universal coarse stone and perform well in this role.The Boride CS-HD stone set contains abrasives of various grit sizes: from 120 to 1000 grit.
