The Cirrus CR99 Performance Pet Upright Vacuum Cleaner has a powerful 12 amp motor and a 14” metal brushroll.  This upright has many features, including a variable power control, full bag indicator, check bag indicator and headlight. In addition to the HEPA Exhaust Filter, the Performance Pet vacuum comes with an Odor Eliminating Carbon Secondary Filter.  The On/Off switch is conveniently placed near the top of the handle tube within easy reach while you are holding the ergonomic handle. The tube handle also includes the hose rack and cord storage hooks to keep the hose and power cord stored when not in use. The variable power control allows you to select the power range from minimum to maximum. A light indicates the power level selected. The carpet and floor selector on the CR99 lets you switch the machine from carpet to bare floor cleaning jobs. When cleaning bare floors, step on the pedal located on the left on the nozzle housing at the bottom of the machine and put in the low position. When cleaning carpeted floors, step on the pedal again to return to the high position. The 12.0 amp motor provides all the suction power you need to keep your pet-friendly home clean. A safety “Thermal Switch” protects the motor from overheating. And can be reset after letting the machine cool down for 10 minutes. The motor powerfully turns the metal brushroll to agitate carpeting as well as providing suction to the accessories. The accessories are located on the back of the machine and include an upholstery tool, extension wand, dusting brush and crevice tool. The pet brush is stored on the exterior of the machine on the tool holder. The post filter cover gives easy access to change the filter.  We recommend changing the filter with every 3 rd dust bag replacement to keep the fine dust particles from entering your clean home and to purify the air as it exits your Cirrus machine. To change the filter: Push the top latch of the cover, located on the side of the machine to the right. Hold the exhaust filter cover and move it upwards. 2. Remove the dirty HEPA filter and replace with a new filter. 3. Reinstall the exhaust filter cover and push the top latch to the left.
