HexTenna vs HexTenna Yagi and their differences The HexTenna Yagi will not function as a Vertical but can be used as a 2-20M Yagi and you can also use the driven side by itself like the HexTenna as a Dipole by leaving the reflector elements installed as a counterweight. Only the HexTenna Vertical and Dipole will function as both a Dipole or Vertical, covering 2 – 40 Meters, plus 220MHz, & 440MHz. You can tune either one by equally lengthening each element until resonance is achieved.
